Intro
OMGLUL. is a project that's completely done for fun. The design comes from my love for live streaming, specifically platforms like Youtube and Twitch. In my designs I created different scenarios for what I think a fun vibrant design could look like for a modern experience.
Skills & learning
Some fun stuff I got to learn while working on this was the different needs apps in interactive live streaming require when you want to create an ecosystem that works cohesively. Whether that's the chat's experience messaging, gifting, emoting or the streamers experience with selling merch, creating stories, and more. I think the space is super fun and deserves to have a very fun brand.
Process
In the process of creating this concept I created a color palette with variable mode so that the interface could easily switch between light and dark mode. I also created a component library so that the building of the pages would be a quick process. Overall the colorful and vibrant interface pairs nicely to the brand exploration and the use of a variety of colors paired with a minimalistic design.
